Before servicing, turn off electrical power to boiler at
service swit ch. Close m anual gas valve t o t urn gas
supply OFF t o boiler. Failure t o com ply will result in
deat h or serious inj ury.
1 1 .4 Dra ining t he Boiler
• turn boiler off
• isolat e elect rical supply
• close boiler gas service valve
• allow boiler t o cool
• drain boiler t hrough onboard drain if available or
ext ernal drain valve.
1 1 .5 Dra ining t he H ea t ing Circuit
• Follow all st eps in 11.4.
• Close cent ral heat ing supply and ret urn valves.
• Connect suit able pipe t o drain point .
• Rout e it t o suit able cont ainer.
• Open drain t ap.
