4-6.5.1 IDE Function Setup

Choose "IDE Function Setup" in "Integrated Peripherals" and press
<Enter>. The following sub-screen will appear for RAID device
configuration:

x IDE Channel0 Master RAID

x IDE Channel1 Master RAID
x IDE Channel1 Slave RAID
x SATA Primary Master RAID
x SATA Secondary Master RAID

IDE Function Setup
RAID function.
If IDE RAID is enabled, users can choose which
IDE device to enable RAID function. nForce3 250
Gb supports RAID 0, 1, and 0+1 funciton.
SATA
If IDE RAID is enabled, users can choose which
SATA device to enable RAID function. nForce3
250 Gb supports RAID 0, 1, and 0+1 funciton.
The chipset contains a PCI IDE interface with
0/1
support from two IDE channels. Select Enabled
to activate the first and/or the second IDE
interface. Select Disabled to inactivate an inter-
face if you install a primary and/or second add-
on IDE interface.
Choose Auto or Mode 0~4. The BIOS will detect the
HDD mode type automatically when you choose
Auto. You need to set to a lower mode than Auto
when your hard disk becomes unstable.
