    Chapter 4 BIOS Setup 4-6.2 STANDARD CMOS SETUP • Standard CMOS Setup records some basic system hardware configuration and sets the system clock and error handling. You only need to modify the configuration values of this option if you want to change your system hard- ware configuration or when the data stored in the CMOS memory gets lost or damaged.
