Features

This chapter explains how to configure the DP-CL21P or DP-CL21M printer on a supported network
environment. The DP-CL21P or DP-CL21M printer provides Ethernet connectivity by functioning as a
network printer server. The DP-CL21P or DP-CL21M network function has the following features:
Supports 100Base-TX and 10Base-T
Supports the following network operating systems
• Windows® 95*
Windows XP*
• NetWare 3.x / NetWare 4.x / NetWare 5.x / NetWare 6
• UNIX (Solaris 2.3x - 2.5x, Solaris 2.6, HP-UX 9.x and 10.x, BSD UNIX, AIX 4.x.x)
• Mac OS 8.1, 8.5, 8.6, 9.0, 9.1, 9.2 / Mac OS X 10.1, 10.2 (when Adobe
enabled)

• TCP/IP, ARP, RARP, ICMP, LPD, FTP, TELNET, BOOTP, DHCP, SNMP/MIB (MIB-2, Printer MIB,
Network MIB), HTTP, POP3, SMTP, DNS, IPP, WINS

• AppleTalk, ELAP, AARP, DDP, AEP, NBP, RTMP, ZIP, ATP, PAP (when Adobe
enabled)
Supports the following printing protocol
• LPR Printing
• IPP Printing
