    You may need to consult with your network administrator which to select. ■ Printing directly from a computer The print data from a computer is transferred directly to the printer. This method is recommended for a small network and has the advantage of faster printing with less network traffic.

    Settings and Printing Contents of the Printer Software The following software is included in the printer CD-ROM disk. You can selectively install it using the installer on the CD-ROM. ■ Printer Driver and Manual When installing the printer driver and manual, you can selectively install the following software.     This section explains how to print using the NetBEUI protocol in Windows 95 / Windows 98 / Windows Me environment. NOTE: • When printing a document using NetBEUI, and the data cannot be printed; the printer will halt and an error message will be displayed. The following are the steps of the setting.

  • Page 62 Click [Start], move the pointer to Programs, Panasonic and Panasonic DP-CL21P or Panasonic DP-CL21M, then click Network Setup Tool. You will see a list of printer residing on the network. You can search by clicking the Device menu and selecting Search.
