Service Name Shows the following type of data communication service.

3. Click the [Connect] button of the data connection to use.
When connecting, the message "Please wait a moment." appears. When connect-
ed, the message "The data connection is activated." appears.
Note: If the connection fails, the message "Failed to activate the data connection."
appears.
4. Click the [Close] button to close the message.
The [Status] field Shows an IP address and the label on the button in the [Opera-
tion] field changes to "Disconnect".
5. To use multiple data connections, repeat steps 3 to 4.
Note: It is not possible to use the same application that is already in the same
group.
When connected to the internet, the connection list appears as shown:
Example: Standard IP packet, 32 kbps streaming IP packet communications
• The primary data connection for each group has a "P" mark, and "---" appears
in the [Application] field. In the above connection list, Standard IP Packet Data
Connection Service is connected first.
• In the [Status] field, "Not connected" changes to indicate the IP address.
• The display in the [Operation] field changes from "Connect" to "Disconnect".
6. Open the desired application and begin data communication.
For services marked as "P", you can use any application, regardless of the setting
selected at section 6.8.1. After the first service selection, only the packets of the
selected application are automatically sorted. Packets from other applications au-
tomatically use the service assigned with a "P".

Shows the WAN group name.
Shows "P" when the primary data connection for each group is activat-
ed.

• 8 kbps Streaming, 16 kbps Streaming, 32 kbps Streaming, 64 kbps
Streaming, 128 kbps Streaming, or 256 kbps Streaming*

Shows the application available for the data connection.
"--" appears in the [Application] field for primary connections.
For secondary connections via "AT Command", "External" appears.
Shows the connection status. The IP address (if connected), or "Not
Connected" is shown.
• [Connect] button: Activate the connection.
• [Disconnect] button: Deactivate the connection.
Note: Disconnecting a primary data connection (indicated with a "P" in
the [P/S] column) disconnects all data connections in the same group.
