5. Click the [Edit] button at the right side of the extension to edit.
6. Edit the nickname for the extension number in the [Nickname] field.
A maximum of 20 characters can be used.
Note: When using the Web interface, you can only edit the nickname for analog
phones. To set the nickname for IP handsets, see section 3.6.2.
7. Select the outgoing service from [Auto], [Voice], or [FAX] in the [Outgoing service]
field.
For [Auto], the voice service and fax service switches automatically.
8. Select [Voice] and/or [FAX] in the [Incoming service] field to receive a call from an
outside line with this phone.
This phone rings when receiving the selected service.
To set the incoming service on, put a [ ] in the box on the left side of [Voice] and/
or [FAX] (click the boxes to add [ ]), as required.
To set the incoming service off, uncheck the [ ] in the box (click the box to delete
[ ]).
Note: If you have subscribed for MS-ISDN, be sure to check the [Voice] box.
9. At the [MS-ISDN] field, select whether to use the Primary number or an alternative
MS-ISDN.
Select [Primary] if your contract does not have alternative MS-ISDN functionality.
If your contract has alternative MS-ISDN functionality, the numbers registered at
section 6.4 appear in the list.
The number selected here is used for called ID when making a call; further, this
number can also be connected (dialed) to from an outside line.
10. Permit or prohibit external calls in the [External call] field.
To permit external calls, put a [ ] in the box on the left side of [Available] (click the
box to add [ ]).
To prohibit external calls, uncheck the [ ] in the box (click the box to delete [ ]).
Shows " " for the phone is related to alternative MS-ISDN.
Shows " " for the phone which destination is restricted.
