APPENDIX 3 NOTIFICATION MESSAGES
Explanation/Remedy
Handset
Can't fix on the satellite be-
cause:
• satellite is under horizon or;
• Antenna blockage or;
• Antenna HW is malfunction;
• Too high vibration.
Make sure Antenna is not
blocked and vibrations are
within the specified limit.
Then restart the Communica-
tion Unit. If the problem per-
sists, contact your dealer.
DC power loss between the
Communication Unit and
HPA is excessive. Make sure
Antenna cable connector has
no corrosion. Make sure all
Antenna cable connectors
are screwed tight together.
BP in Communication Unit
has detected some errors. If
too many errors detected,
contact your dealer.
- Signal from terrestrial com-
munication systems detected
and rejected.
The Antenna temperature is
too high. Turn the system off
until the Antenna tempera-
ture cools down.
Antenna input voltage is out
of range. Check input voltage
to the Communication Unit is
within 10 – 32 V DC. Make
sure the antenna cables are
screwed together firmly.
Communication error be-
tween Communication Unit
and ACM in Antenna. Check
the Antenna cable connec-
tion.
IMU in Antenna error. Restart
the Communication Unit. If
the problem persists, contact
your dealer.
Communication with the
GPS receiver in the Antenna
