Removing and Replacing a DFM

Procedure: Replace the Dummy Filter Module in the Passive Optical Shelf

Open the passive optical shelf cover.
Step 1
Position the DFM in the passive optical shelf.
Step 2
Slide the DFM on the bottom so the rear MCU crossbeam fits into the groove in the back of the DFM.
Step 3
Push in the button at the module bottom to snap into place.
Step 4
Close the passive optical shelf cover.
