People who install, maintain, or operate ONS 15200 equipment should follow standard safety practices
for working with electrical wiring and connectors. Installation and maintenance of the ONS 15200
should be performed only by people trained in electrical and laser safety.

Terminate all optical fiber jumper cable outputs properly before connecting the inputs.
Disconnect the optical fiber jumper cable input connector before disconnecting the output
connector. Ensure that the optical fiber jumper cable output is safely terminated before reconnecting
the input.
Handle fiber with care. Glass fiber is subject to breakage if mishandled. Injury or permanent
equipment damage can result from using broken fiber.
Observe standard precautions for handling devices sensitive to electrostatic discharge.
Do not directly view the laser component of this product from the output source, the output
connector, or unterminated fiber.

protective eyewear, filtering, or attenuation.
