Admin Mailbox Class Of Service Setup

The mailbox Class of Service (COS) only applies to Admin users. The system supports up to 5
COS. The 2 pre-configured classes are Executive Staff and General Staff. The other 3 are called
Reserved by default. However, all 5 are user-configurable including their respective names.
1. Select the COS number and the default settings will be shown
2. Edit the name should it be required, otherwise, use the default
3. Specify the maximum number of messages to be stored (Maximum is 100 and Minimum is 1)
4. Specify the maximum length of each message stored in a mailbox of this class (Maximum is
600 seconds and minimum is 5)
5. Specify the number of days new and old messages are to be kept in a mailbox of this class
(setting to "0" means the messages are never deleted).
6. The Broadcast option is to allow a mailbox of this class to be able to broadcast a message to
other mailboxes. If it is disabled, the system will not recognize the distribution list code (*)
needed for message broadcast when entered from mailboxes of this class.

Configuring Global Voicemail Settings

This allows for the configuration of various messaging parameters. To change these parameters,
simply key-in the values in each field and click Save or click the Default button for default values.
