7.4.

Assembly of joint clamp

⇒ Mounting of the clamp only in faultless condition (Fig. 1).

⇒ Pay attention to gap X and to the parallel position of the side piece (Fig. 1).

⇒ It is not allowed to mount clamps with deformed side pieces (Fig. 2).

⇒ Lubricating of the screw thread before assembly → Type of the grease IBF PW 119

⇒ Put the clamp on the clamp connection.

⇒ Put the screw with the hexagon nut (S) in the groove of the holding bracket.

⇒ Tighten the hexagon nut (S) with torque spanner
