7.8.1.
Operating mode air to open - spring to close
Disassembling the actuator
IV.1.
Unscrew the threaded plug (11).
IV.2.
Disconnect the air connection (12) (Tools: Hexagonal screwdriver 3,0 mm)
IV.3.
Unscrew the locking screw (9) and remove the friction bearing (1) and O-rings (2, 10) (Tools: Face spanner,
punch).
IV.4.
Dismantle the closing head support (13) and remove the friction bearings (5, 7) and O-rings (4, 6, 8).
(Tools: drift punch ø5, punch).
Replacing the seal
IV.5.
Replace the seals and friction bearings.
Use original spare parts only.

IV.6.
Prior to assembly clean and grease the shafts and sliding surfaces. Grease the sealing elements before installa-
tion.

Assembling the actuator
IV.7.
Fit the friction bearings (5, 7) and O-rings (4, 6, 8) into the closing head support (13).
IV.8.
Screw the closing head support (13) onto the actuator cylinder (3) (Tools: drift punch ø5).
IV.9.
Fit the friction bearing (1) and O-rings (2, 10) in the locking screw (9).
IV.10.
Screw the locking screw (9) onto the actuator cylinder (3) (Tools: Face spanner).
IV.11.
Unscrew the threaded plug (11).
IV.12.
Attach the air connection (12) (Tools: Hexagonal screwdriver 3,0 mm)
