Loading, Connecting, and Using the Backpack
Configuring a Phone-Only System
•
It is recommended that you configure the measurement project before you
load equipment into the backpack.
•
If you are using multiple phones, you need to insert a dual Socket I/O card
to which you can attach two phones. The card is inserted in the pen
tablet's PCMCIA slot.
1. Connect the hardware security key to the parallel port of the pen tablet
PC, and slide the pen tablet into the pen tablet case.
2. Connect the phone cable(s) to the phone(s) and place them in the phone
pouch (if you are using one), as shown in
tablet" on page 31, or connect the phones to your belt.
3. Connect the phone cable(s) to the pen tablet, pick up the pen tablet, and
turn on all power.
4. Start the Agilent Technologies application software. Find instructions for
running the software in the online help by pressing
