• Is the phone turned on and does the battery
show sufficient power (phone-based system)?
• Is the interface cable connected between the
phone and the PC (phone-based system)?
• Is the second COM port defined and
functioning (phone-based system)?
• Verify steps 1 and 2 are true.
• Check the Agilent E645x receiver by
performing Verification Test 1, 2, or 3 and
confirm no COM errors by going to Collection
mode and viewing the Spectrum virtual front
panel. Refer to Chapter 4 in the Agilent

verification tests.
