5. Connect the RF antenna cable to the RF input of the receiver. (See
1-10 on page 34 for a cabling illustration.)
6. If you are using a USB serial converter, secure it in place, connect the
Agilent digital receiver using the RS-232 null modem cable, and connect
the USB cable to the hub. (Or, if you are connecting directly to COM1,
connect the Agilent digital receiver to the RS-232 null modem cable.)
7. Switch on the battery(ies), and close up the backpack.
8. Put on the backpack (see
for details), pick up the pen tablet in the case, and connect the USB 4-port
converter cable to the USB port of the pen tablet PC (or connect the RS-
232 null modem cable to the pen tablet serial port).
9. Turn on the pen tablet's power and start the Agilent Technologies
application software. Find instructions for using the software in the online
help by pressing
