Spool brake setting

Tighten the Allen screw (8 mm) in the clockwise direction to increase the braking effect.
Do not jam the wire spool!
Tighten the spool brake until the wire spool no longer turns when the wire feed motor stops but
without it jamming during operation!
The fixing of the pin reel must be checked if the hexagonal socket screw is released.
See chapter "Fixing of the pin reel (adjustment of the pre-tensioning)"
5.8.4

Inserting the wire spool

Standard D300 pin reels can be used. Adapters (see accessories) are required when
using standardised basket coils (DIN 8559).

Loosen knurled nut from spool holder.
Fix welding wire reel onto the spool holder so that the carrier pin locks into the spool bore.
Fasten wire spool using knurled nut.
