6 Troubleshooting

6.1 Overview

The following features help you to identify and eliminate the source for problems that may
occur during the operation of the pump or UltiMate 3000 system.
Status LED
•
The status LEDs (light emitting diodes) on the front panel provide a quick visual check of
the operational status of the pump. They indicate whether the pump is turned on,
connected in Chromeleon, and operating properly (→ page 18).
• Error Codes
If a fault or error is detected during the operation of the pump, an error code is displayed
on the pump display. If the pump is operated with Chromeleon, the corresponding error
message is displayed in the Chromeleon Audit Trail. Check the following pages for
recommended courses of action.
