6. Slide the replacement primary seal over the tip of the plunger until it is flush with the
surface of the plunger. The open side of the seal must face away from the tool.
7. Pipette a few drops of isopropanol on the edge in the displacement chamber on which
the piston seal will rest.
8. Insert the seal handling tool with the replacement seal positioned on the plunger into
the bore for the seal in the displacement chamber (→ Fig. 56). Do not apply any side
load onto the seal during this process.

9. Hold down the support bushing and pull the plunger out until it is out of the seal.
