The strongest mounting option is a "Through
Mount" (see Figure 8) where holes are drilled all
the way through the workbench—and hex bolts,
washers, and hex nuts are used to secure the
machine in place.

Another option is a "direct mount" (see Figure 9)
where the machine is secured directly to the work-
bench with lag screws and washers.

Assembly

The machine must be fully assembled before it
can be operated. Before beginning the assembly
process, refer to Needed for Setup and gather
all listed items. To ensure the assembly process
goes smoothly, first clean any parts that are cov-
ered or coated in heavy-duty rust preventative (if
applicable).
To assemble machine:
1.
Remove (4) button head cap screws shown in
Figure 10 to remove disc cover.

2.
Peel backing off of sanding disc, then press
adhesive side to center of aluminum disc (see
Figure 11), working from center outward,
making sure it contacts surface evenly.
