Assembly

The machine must be fully assembled before it
can be operated. Before beginning the assembly
process, refer to Needed for Setup and gather
all listed items. To ensure the assembly process
goes smoothly, first clean any parts that are cov-
ered or coated in heavy-duty rust preventative (if
applicable).
Straining or crushing injury
may occur from improperly
lifting machine or some of
its parts. To reduce this risk,
get help from other people
and use a forklift (or other
lifting equipment) rated for
weight of this machine.
To assemble machine:
Move pallet/box to appropriate location (refer

to Site Considerations on Page 14).
Leave sander on pallet until instructed to
move it in Step 17.
Note: We recommend assembling stand
upside down. To make it easier, have an
assistant hold pieces while you assemble
stand.
DO NOT final-tighten stand bolts until all
stand components have been assembled.

Mount (1) top long bracket to (1) stand leg

and secure by hand with (2) M8-1.25 x 15
carriage bolts and (2) M8-1.25 flange nuts, as
shown in Figure 5.
Mount (1) bottom long bracket to (1) stand

shown in Figure 5.
