5.2 Powering Off Batteries

Procedure
Step 1 Switch off the battery circuit breakers. (Perform this operation for multiple SmartLi
cabinets one by one.)
Step 2 Press and hold the POWER ON/OFF button on the battery control unit for more
than 5s. (Perform this operation for multiple SmartLi cabinets one by one.)
If batteries are powered off and will not be charged for more than a month,
remove the battery control unit.

5.3 Performing EPO

● After EPO is triggered, there is no SmartLi output.
● After EPO is triggered, the system reports a Battery cabinet shutdown alarm.
Press the external EPO switch that connects to the dry contact card or remove the
4-pin terminal on the EPO port of the dry contact card of the bypass unit.

If the green indicator of one battery control unit blinks at 10 Hz, turn on the
battery circuit breaker on any SmartLi.
NO TICE
In this case, the green indicators of all battery control units are on for 1s and
then off for 4s, you cannot turn on the battery circuit breakers on other
SmartLi cabinets or start the UPS in cold mode.
After the green indicators of other battery control units blink at 10 Hz, turn
on the battery circuit breaker on the SmartLi where the battery control unit
blinks at 10 Hz one by one.
