6.2.1 Turbine Characterization

Press START to begin
•
Press ESC to stop
The turbine characterization calibration is necessary in the following cases:
•
A significant deviation is noticed (ex. >10% or 2% end scale + 4% read value)
between the set pressure value and correspondent value effectively applied and
measured by ventilator.
•
In case of first calibration of ventilator or replacement of turbine.
•
Software upgrade or first start-up for important repairing (e.g.: replacement of turbine
or inspired flow sensor).
WARNING! Patient injury hazard
•
There are various procedures for device calibration.
•
Use the Encoder knob to select (turn) and activate (press) the desired
procedure.
•
If there is no CALIBRATION PROGRAMS confirm, the system
automatically switches to SELF TEST phase.
