Troubleshooting

Testing the Acquisition Module

Use the Acquisition Module Test to determine if the acquisition board is working
properly.
1. Open the Diagnostic Tests window as described in
Diagnostics Function" on page
2. Select Acquisition Module Test.
A window similar to the one shown in the following illustration opens.
3. Note the test result and press F6 (Cancel).
4. If the result of the Acquisition Module Test was Failed:

Checking Battery Status

Use the Battery Test to determine the status of the Lithium-Ion battery. You must
perform this test while running on battery power.
1. Disconnect the device from AC power and wait at least one minute.
2. Open the Diagnostic Tests window as described in
Diagnostics Function" on page
38
Re-seat or double-check acquisition board harnesses and repeat the
acquisition module test.
If the test still fails after re-seating the board and checking the harnesses,
replace the acquisition board as described in
Board Assembly" on page
Repeat the acquisition module test after replacing the board to verify
functionality.
If the test still fails after replacing the acquisition board, replace the
mainboard/ETE module as described in
MAC™ 1600
