Hardware setup:
1. Insert the camera into the portal on the mask. Ensure that the camera is placed in the correct
orientation by placing the camera with the "UP" label pointing upwards.
2. Connect the USB mini-B connector to the connector on the camera.
3. Connect the other end of the USB cable to the supplied USB hub. Ensure that the hub is powered
through the external power supply.
4. Register the front mount goggles as "Front Mount Camera" in the the VisualEyes™ software,
following the instructions in section 2.8: Hardware registration and licensing.

EyeSeeCam goggle
The EyeSeeCam camera acquires eye position and head position data during video head impulse tests
(vHIT). Along with vHIT, VisualEyes™ can now use the EyeSeeCam goggle for standard VNG tests when
configured as VisualEyes™ EyeSeeCam. The camera is connected through USB, and can be mounted into
the spherical socket over the eye. A laser stimulus projects from the goggles in the vHIT test.

The camera is mounted in a spherical ball-and-socket joint over the right or left eye. This feature is
particularly useful in patients with either a glass eye or with a ptosis. The ball-and-socket joint allows the user
to adjust the angle of the camera in order to center the eye in the image, and the lens of the camera module
can be turned to adjust the focus of the image. A focused image is a precondition of stable eye tracking and
noise-free data.

The calibration laser on the bridge of the goggle has a knob that allows you to align the dots on the wall by
slightly rotating the knob until the 5 laser dots are aligned horizontally and vertically. Do not adjust the
calibration laser unduly. Adjust only if the dots are out of horizontal/vertical alignment.
