Launching Modular SA Application

Application Launcher

CXA-m Launcher is a tool for invoking the Modular SA applications for one or

multiple modules. It also can be used to update the FPGA and install module

hardware license.

Before launching any application, M9290A module should be installed into the

chassis.

Please click

eset/

start Launcher from the desktop, or start it from Windows Start >

All Programs > Keysight Signal Analysis > LaunchModularSA.

Database Maintenance

After Launcher starting, it will check the free space on controller drive C: first. If

there is not enough free space on drive C:, a message box will pop up to delete the

database for all uninstalled modules as following:

Choose "Yes" to delete the database for the modules which are unplugged from

chassis. A notification as following will be shown when launcher is removing the

database for the uninstalled modules:

After database removing, if the free space is still not enough, a message box will pop

up as following to remind user to clean the disk space manually:

Then, launcher will create database for the newly installed module which does not

have database.
