S3-related functions described in this section are available only
when your BIOS supports S3 sleep mode.
ACPI Function
This item is to activate the ACPI (Advanced Configuration and Power Man-
agement Interface) function. If your operating system is ACPI-aware, such as
Windows 98SE/2000/ME, select [Enabled]. Setting options: [Enabled],
[Disabled].
Wake-Up by PCI Card, Power On by Ring, Wake Up On LAN
These fields specify whether the system will be awakened from power saving
modes when activity or input signal of the specified hardware peripheral or
component is detected.
Resume By Alarm
The field is used to enable or disable the feature of booting up the system on a
scheduled time/date.
Date (of Month) Alarm
The field specifies the date for Resume by Alarm. Settings: [0] ~ [31].
