Overheating
Overheating will seriously damage the CPU and system, al-
ways make sure the cooling fan can work properly to protect
the CPU from overheating.
Replacing the CPU
While replacing the CPU, always turn off the ATX power sup-
ply or unplug the power supply's power cord from grounded
outlet first to ensure the safety of CPU.
Hardware Setup
5. Push the other clip into the hook.
6. Repeat the same procedures on
the other retention module of
the Socket 604.
7. Connect the CPU fan power cord
to CPUFAN1 and the cooler in-
stallation is complete.
Note: If dual processors are
installed, connect the second
C P U f a n p o w e r c o r d t o
CPUFAN2.
