a standstill on multi-lane, separate roads by Active
Distance Assist DISTRONIC, it can automatically
follow the vehicle in front when it drives o again
within 30 seconds. If a critical situation is detec-
ted when you are driving o , a visual and acoustic
warning is output indicating that the driver must
now take control of the vehicle. The vehicle is not
accelerated any further.
Observe the notes on driving systems and your
responsibility; you may otherwise fail to recognize
dangers ( page 155).

nent status display and highlighted on the speed-
ometer. When Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC
is passive, the speed is grayed out.
