DISTRONIC Active Distance Assist maintains the
set speed while the vehicle is being driven freely.
If vehicles are detected ahead, the set distance is
maintained, if necessary until the vehicle comes
to a standstill. The vehicle accelerates or brakes
depending on the distance to the vehicle in front
and the set speed. The speed and distance to the
vehicle in front are set and saved using the steer-
ing wheel.
