Check that the transmitter frequency of

remote control 5 is supported.
Replace the batteries in remote control 5.

Hold remote control 5 at various angles from

a distance of 0.4 in (1 cm) to 3 in (8 cm) front
of the inside rearview mirror. You should test
every setting position for at least 25 seconds
before trying another position.
Hold remote control 5 at the same angles at

view mirror. You should test every setting posi-
tion for at least 25 seconds before trying
another position.
On remote controls that transmit only for a

limited period, press button 6 on remote
control 5 again before transmission ends.
