Inventory

The "Inventory" instruction activates the taking of inventories for RF600 readers
(RF61xR/RF68xR). With a single inventory, acquisition cycles of all antennas with all
polarizations are queried. For example, if 2 antennas are connected to a reader and each
has 3 polarizations, then an inventory will include 6 acquisition cycles.
Note that the length of the data buffer ("IDENT_DATA") must correspond to at least the
length of the maximum expected data. If more transponders are identified and data read
out than have space in the assigned buffer length of "IDENT_DATA", the data of these
transponders is lost. This reaction is indicated by the error "0xE7FE0400" (buffer
overflow).
You can specify the duration of the inventories using the "DURATION" and "DUR_UNIT"
parameters.

Description
Data buffer for configuration data.
The real length of the data depends
on the complexity of the configura-
tion and the firmware version of the
reader. We recommend a memory
size of 4 KB for a standard configu-
ration. If you use advanced reader
configurations (filtering) or want to
change the configuration in the fu-
ture without needing to adapt the
memory size of "IDENT_DATA", we
recommend a memory size of 8-16
KB.
Note:
When necessary, an array of any size
can be transferred to this parameter.
Note that the array must be ≥ 10
bytes long (e.g. "SINT[12400]").
