Use caution during this procedure. To adjust the mainspring to the un-cocked position,
start using the safe release switch, firing the trap one time. Next, use the handle to release
the spring tension by pressing down on the handle with one hand; with your other hand,
unthread the hand nut (s4) until the mainspring bolt is threaded into the back of the hand
nut. The trap is now in the un-cocked position. (see figure 44)

Install the retention pin in the top plate retention pinhole and pinhole throwing arm to contact
the retention pin.

Remove magazine assembly by sliding the magazine rods off the magazine studs.
5.
If necessary, detach the safety tube (A4) from both safety tube studs (A2), and both
Safety Tube Supports (A1).
6.
If necessary, remove the battery.
7.
Store trap indoors away from the elements and out of children's reach.
