Elevation Adjustment
(B)
WARNING: BEFORE MAKING ANY ADJUSTMENTS, MAKE SURE THE THROWING
ARM IS IN THE UNCOCKED POSITION, THE ON/OFF/SAFE RELEASE SWITCH IS
IN THE "OFF" POSITION, AND THE BATTERY IS DISCONNECTED FROM THE
TRAP. DO NOT MANUALLY FORCE THE THROWING ARM THROUGH THE
UNCOCKED POSITION AS THE MAINSPRING WILL TAKE OVER AND FIRE THE
TRAP, POTENTIALLY CAUSING SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
1.
To adjust the elevation, slightly loosen the two Hand Bolts (HB1) (one on each side of the trap).
2.
Pull the head of the Pull Pin (B2) while pressing down on the rear of the trap; once the trap starts to
move, let go of the Pull Pinhead, and it will stop at the next available throwing angle. Once you
have reached the desired angle from 0-50 degrees, retighten the Hand Bolts (HB1). The hand bolts
must be tight before cycling the trap, limiting the vibration and preventing damage to the pull pin.
