Max Spring Tension
a. To adjust to max spring tension, press down and hold on to the handle with one
hand (H1). Next, pull the mainspring pulling tension on the spring; with your other
hand, thread the hand Nut (S4) in until the Hand Nut (S4) stops. When the S4 has
no more threads, the spring will be at max tension. See figure (40).

Un-Cocked position

Use caution during this procedure. To adjust the mainspring to the un-cocked position,
start using the safe release switch, firing the trap one time. Next, use the handle to release
the spring tension by pressing down on the handle with one hand; with your other hand,
unthread the hand nut (s4) until the mainspring bolt is threaded into the back of the hand
nut. The trap is now in the un-cocked position. (see figure 41)
a. Place the Arm Retention Pin (SP1) in the top plate pinhole. Then rotate the
throwing arm by hand until it contacts the arm retention pin. See figure (42).
