PROCEDURE
When the free repeater idle message is found, the VFD displays:

After the free rfpeater idle message is received, press:
on the Keyboard (18) to simulate PTT. The VFD displays:
indicating the new (handed off) repeater recognized the output
from the FM/AM-12005.
