Repeater Handoff Test (Mobile Unit Simulation Mode)
Handoff capability is tested using the FM/AM-1200S to simulate a mobile
unit in need of a handoff to a second repeater while a mobile unit or a
second FM/AM-1200S is used to keep the Home Repeater channel busy.
Set
up the Repeater system and FM/AM-1200S as show in Figure 5-8.

DO NOT EXCEED 1/4 WATT INPUT TO FM/AM-1200S ANTENNA
CONNECTOR.
DAMAGE TO TEST SET WILL RESULT.
If a sample port is not available on combiner, use of
a directional coupler is required to obtain the desired
1 mW signal at the FM/AM-1200S ANT connector.
