5.9.1 Switching HART revision with generic menu
If the HART
device, it should load a generic menu with limited capability. The following procedures
allow for switching between HART Revision 7 and HART Revision 5 from a generic menu.
Procedure
1. Locate "Message" field.
2. To change to HART Revision 5, Enter: HART5 in the message field.
3. To change to HART Revision 7, Enter: HART7 in the message field.
5.9.2 Switching HART revision with Field Communicator
From the HOME screen, enter the Fast Key sequence and follow steps within the Field
Communicator to complete the HART

Procedure
1. Select Manual Setup and select HART.
2. Select Change HART Revision, then follow the on screen prompts.
