The transient protection terminal block can be ordered as an installed option (code T1) or
as a spare part to retrofit existing transmitters in the field. See
numbers. The lightning bolt symbol shown in
protection terminal block.

The transient protection terminal block does not provide transient protection unless the
transmitter case is properly grounded. Use the guidelines to ground the transmitter case.
