NOTE! Before star ting up the engine, check the level of the engine oil, coolant, fuel and hydraulic oil.
S tarting up
• Turn on the battery switch to «CONTACT» position
• Place the grip in neutral position. A detector ensures safe e ngine
start- up.
• Turn the ignition ke y to position 1 to power on electrical circuits. [ 1],
• Turn the ignition ke y to position 2 to star t the engine. Release it
after starting up and the key will automatically return to position 1.
• Insert ke y
- Position 0 = no operating voltage
• Turn key to the right
- Position 1 = oper ating voltage
- Engine ready for operation
• Below the te mperature specified in the ele ctronic engine control,
the pre-heating phase begins with turning on the ignition
• The electronic engine control controls and activates the cur rent fe ed to the glow plugs via th engine coolant
temperatures
• Push the key in and turn further clockwise against spring pressure
- Level 2 = star t
• Release the key as soon as possible the engine star ts up
