11. Shut off all nozzles by the main ON/OFF button.
12. Now turn the suction SmartValve towards " Rinsing tank" and the pressure SmartValve on " Tank rinsing".
13. Use another 1/6 (approximately 75 l) for this. The tank strainer should be remove d to avoid shading the rinsing nozzle.
14. Turn the suction SmartValve towards "Main tank" and the pressure SmartValve towards "Spraying". With the nozzles
shut allow the liquid to circulate for minimum 3 0 seconds to flush the re tur n lines from boom to tank.
15. Open all nozzles by the main ON/OFF switch and spray the r insing water from the main tank through the nozzles until
all liquid is expelled from the boom pipes and nozzle s.
16. Repeat step 11-14 another 3 times using 1/6 (approximately 75 l) of the rinsing tank content in e ach of the 3 sequences
until the r insing tank is empty.
17. Shut off the nozzles at the main ON/OFF button once the rinsing process is complete.
B: Rins ing When Main Tank Is Not E mpty
This procedure is used to rinse the pump, oper ating unit, spray lines, etc. in case of stopping the spray job before the main
tank is empty (e.g. at the be ginning of rain etc.).
Cle aning of the liquid system:
1. Turn Suction SmartValve towards "Rinsing tank" . (K eep pressure SmartValve in "Spraying"-position).
÷
NOTE! The main ON/OFF function on the grip must be ON. Closing the main ON/OFF will transfer the rinse water back
to the main tank!
2. Close agitation valve (no agitation).
1. Turn off the Cyclone Filter Boost Valve to avoid dilution of main tank content.
1. Engage the pump and spr ay water from the rinsing tank into the field, until all boom pipes and nozzles are flushed
with clean water.
1. Disengage the pump when finished.
μ
ATTENTION! It is advisable to increase the forward speed (double if possible) and reduce the spr ay pressure to 1.5 bar
when spraying diluted spr ay liquid in the fie ld just sprayed.
μ
ATTENTION! If a cleaning procedure is given on the chemical label, follow it closely.
C: Cleaning the Sprayer on the Outside
This procedure is used to clean the sprayer on the outside in the field as required with the External Cle aning Device.
÷
NOTE! Be fore attempting an external rinsing, make sure the main tank is r insed ("A. " ) and empty! Any liquid left in the
main tank will be mixed with the clean water for external rinsing!
÷
NOTE! Approximately 100 litres of clean water in the rinsing tank will allow approximately 15 minutes of rinsing (the
spray gun uses 6 litres per minute at 10 bar pressure).
±
WARNING! Ne ver clean the sprayer if there are risks of contamination of surface or underground water! Choose a
different spot for cleaning every time to avoid spot contamination building up.
