Before use or starting up the spr aye r and the tr actor, always check the ir
• road-worthiness
• oper ational safe ty
Risk of crushing, cutting, catching, sque ezing, getting trapped, being dr awn in or being struck by sprayer parts due to
inadequate road-wor thiness and operational safety.
Beside these instructions, comply with the gene rally applicable national safety and accident pr evention regulations.
The war ning symbols and othe r labels attached to the spr aye r provide important information on safe spr aye r oper ation.
C ompliance with this information is in the inter ests of your safety.
K eep the spray boom in folded position, whenever the sprayer is not coupled to a tractor. Unfolding the boom on an
uncoupled spraye r will shift the balance point of the spr ayer causing a risk of overturning.
Before driving off and starting up the sprayer , check the immediate area of the sprayer - look out especially for children and
instruct them and other unauthor ized persons to stay out of reach of the sprayer. Ensure that you can see clearly.
Drive in such a way that you al w ays have full control over the sprayer. In doing so, take your personal abilitie s into account, as
well as the road, traffic, visibility, weather conditions and the dr iving characteristics of the sprayer.
Slow down when dr iving in uneven terrain or when making sharp tur ns, as the sprayer might be
in r isk of turning over.
It is forbidden to ride on the sprayer or use it as a means of transport.
Only authorized persons are allowed inside or outside the tr actor cabin during operation.
K eep persons, children and animals away from the operation areas of the sprayer and from the
sprayer 's equipment. Be care ful when manoeuvring the sprayer, especially when reversing, as
there is a risk of hitting people or surroundings.
Avoid eating, drinking or smoking while spraying or working with equipment contaminated with chemicals.
The che micals used for spraying are dangerous to your health! In case of ingestion, poisoning or damages to your skin or
face, immediately seek medical advice. Remember to identify the chemicals use d.
