Usually an O-r ing is used, but there is also a different type of gasket in
use (F).
How To Remove Lock Ring
If the lock ring needs to be replaced, this can be done by mounting a
connector (A) in reverse direction.
• Push the connector ove r the lock r ing.
• Place the connector r ight behind the lock ring and pull to re move
the lock r ing from the pipe.
