4.2 Description of preset data manipulation

(1) Switch operation during presetting

When the PRE switch is pressed, the switches below function
as follows.

a. PRE switch
• Holding this switch down displays the preset screens on page
1 to page 3.
• These screens do not appear even if the PRE switch is pressed
while the MENU screen is displayed. Exit from the MENU
screen using the ESC switch first and then press the PRE
switch.

• Press this
switch to move the cursor to a preset data item
to be changed.
PHA
CENT
• The data value that appears when the cursor is moved is the
current set value.
• The cursor jumps over the following items and moves to the
next item.
APT : In the case where APT is OFF.
HUE : In the case where NTSC analog/digital composite
signal is not selected
• The switching between preset screen pages can also be made
using the
switch as well as the PRE switch.

• Use this
switch to change each preset data at which the
cursor points.
d. MENU/ENT switch
• When the MENU/ENT switch is pressed after changes in
preset data have been made, the confirmation message is
displayed as shown below. To register the data, press the
MENU/ENT switch again.
Pressing the ESC switch here returns to the previous data
that is not changed.

Data registration
• When changed data is registered, "STORE" is displayed on
the screen. When data is cleared, "CLEAR" is displayed on
the screen.
When data is not changed, nothing is displayed.
e. ESC switch
• Press this switch to reset the changed data to its previous
data that is not changed.

For the types of individual preset data settings, refer to Chapter
7 "Memo".
