Password Protected Users

If the user logs in with a password, the fi le system permissions determines
what the user has access to. Th e FTP server supports the users listed in
the password fi le.

Timeout

Th e FTP server has a 15 minute timeout.

Client (Fingerprint only)

Th e printer's FTP client supports the transfer of fi les to and from the
printer using the Fingerprint statement TRANSFER NET, see Intermec
Fingerprint Programmer's Reference Manual.
Confi gure Printer through Fingerprint
Th e following setup sections are used in connection with EasyLAN
network interface card and the Fingerprint SETUP command.
Information about confi guring the printer through Fingerprint
commands can be found in the Intermec Fingerprint Programmer's
Reference Manual. Th is section does not apply to printers running IPL.

Setup objects are used in connection with EasyLAN. Th ere are diff erent
objects for each setup section:

prt Section

Th is is the default section. Th e syntax corresponds to the syntax of the
SETUP statement.
EasyLAN User's Guide
Th e legacy section as it was before the introduction of sections. It
is the default section.
Controls printer alerts in regard of individual enable/disable and
delay conditions for repeated traps.
Contains all variables available in the print server.
Contains all basic wireless network confi guration
settings(EasyLAN Wireless with Fingerprint 8.10 or later).
Contains all 802.1x security settings (EasyLAN Wireless with
Fingerprint 8.40 or later).
