Printing Labels (Fingerprint)

Creating a Label File

In order to test if the printer has been correctly installed and confi gured,
you could print a simple label. Th e fi le listed below is a text fi le
containing Intermec Direct Protocol commands.
First, create a label layout fi le in a text editor, such as Windows Notepad.
Example:

Save the fi le under a suitable name, for example

start direct protocol mode
enable bar code interpretation
select bar code font
insertion point for box fi eld
insertion point for image fi eld
insertion point for bar code fi eld
select bar code type
input data to bar code fi eld
insertion point for text fi eld
input data to text fi eld
dptest.txt
create a box
select image
select text font
print one copy
