6 Preparing the product for use
6.1 Control programmes for 8E33=7-1, 8E34=7-1
The Digital Twin control unit features a digital and dual-channel control mode. The desired control
mode is selected with the integrated 13E189 function plug.
6.1.1 Digital mode programme (with function plug)
Control with 2 electrodes.
6.1.2 Dual-channel mode programme (without function plug)
Control with one electrode.
6.2 Control programmes for 8E33=9-1, 8E34=9-1
6.2.1 Programme 1: DMC plus
Proportional control with 2 electrodes for patients with two strong electrode signals
Depending on the strength of the electrode signal, the opening and closing speed can be varied
proportionally between 8 mm/s and 200 mm/s. The gripping force can also be varied proportion­
ally between 10 N and 160 N.
