5. Insert battery into battery receptacle and snap into place. The system will beep three
times to let you know that you're in the selected operational mode. The MyoSimulator
is now provided with power through the electrode connection and is ready for use.
6. Set the flip-switch "OPEN / CLOSE" (Fig.1, Pos.6) in the middle setting.
7. Set the flip-switch "NORMAL / CO-CONTRACTION / SAFETY CONTRACTION"
(Fig.1, Pos.4) in the "normal" setting.
8. Turn the "OPEN" control knob (Fig.1, Pos.2) to the "LOW" setting and set push-

9. If the Electrohand closes instead of opens, switch the two electrode plugs on the
Four Channel Processor II.
10. Set the "CLOSE" control knob (Fig.1, Pos.5) to "High" and set the push-button to
"CLOSE / SAFETY CO-CONTRACTION" (Fig.1, Pos.7). The System-Electrohand

been pressed, or when the "OPEN / CLOSE" flip-switch has been set in the

in the "CO-CONTRACTION / SAFETY CONTRACTION" setting.

the 10S17 Electric Wrist Rotator.
14. Set the "NORMAL / CO-CONTRACTION / SAFETY CONTRACTION" flip-switch
in the "NORMAL" setting.
15. Increase the signal strength on both control knobs by rotation towards "Max".
