The initial fitting and application of the product must be carried out by qualified personnel.
Instruct the patient in the handling and care of the product.
Instruct the patient to see a physician immediately if any exceptional changes are noted (e.g.
worsening of the complaint).
4.1 Selecting the Size
► Select the support size based on the circumference of the pelvis (see size chart).
4.2 Fitting and Application
CAUTION
Incorrect or excessively tight application
Skin irritation due to overheating, local pressure points due to tight application to the body
Ensure that the product is applied properly and fits correctly.
When in doubt, do not continue to use the product if skin irritation occurs.
CAUTION
Direct skin contact with the product
Skin irritation due to chafing or sweat formation
Do not wear this product directly on the skin.
NOTICE
Use of a worn or damaged product
Limited effectiveness
Before each use, check the product for functional reliability and for possible wear or dam­
age.
Do not continue using a product that is no longer functional, or that is worn or damaged.

The patient is standing.
>
The hook-and-loop closure of the abdominal strap is open.
>
The pull cable is completely loosened.
1) Optional – inserting the pad: Use the hook-and-loop closure to attach the pad to the inside
of the support (see fig. 1).
2) Guide the support around the torso and apply equal force to both sides to pull it forward (see
fig. 2).
3) Attach the right side to the left side of the abdominal strap (see fig. 3). Ensure that the hook-
and-loop sections are lying flat against each other and are not in contact with clothing or skin.
4) Pull the end of the pull cable forward and attach it to the abdominal strap with the hook-and-
loop fastener (see fig. 4).
5) Optional – shortening the pull cable: Pull the winding card out of the pocket (see fig. 5),
wrap the pull cable around the winding card (see fig. 6) and put the winding card back into
the pocket.
6) Optional – changing the direction of the pull cable from left to right: The pull cable can
be changed from the left to the right side by rotating the brace by 180° when putting it on.
4.3 Cleaning
NOTICE
Use of improper cleaning agents
Damage to the product due to use of improper cleaning agents
Only clean the product with the approved cleaning agents.
