Make sure that the cable is not stretched tight, since the flexion
movement of the wrist will require a certain amount of cable length.
Besides functioning as a seal, the Cable Seal acts as a strain-relief
for the cable. It is also important that enough cable is left in the
tube for later repairs.
Attach the Transcarpal-Hand 8E44=* to the plate as shown in the Instruc-
tions Manual of the Endoskeletal-Adapter 647H501.
The cable is connected as described in the Instructions Manual of the
Endoskeletal-Adapter 647H501.

residual limbs (Fig. 2)
For this fitting the unit must be combined with the Chassis of the Quick-
Disconnect Wrist 9S266 (Fig 9). The scope of delivery does NOT include
the coaxial cable for attachment of a Transcarpal Hand. The latter must be
ordered separately. The DMC plus control requires 9E397=7; the Digital
Twin control requires 9E397=8.
7.1 Assembly instructions
Clean all threads (except the two bolts in the plate) with acetone.
Do not touch the areas cleaned with acetone and after the acetone has
evaporated, immediately coat with Loctite 241 (636K12).
Feed the four-pole cable through the flexed wrist until it comes out the other
end and screw the components together hand tight (about 8 Nm).
Please be aware, that the cable can become twisted in this pro-
cess (Fig. 5). The cable must straightly pass through the wrist unit
in order to prevent it from being damaged (Fig. 6).
Slide the Cable Seal over the Four-Pole Cable (Fig. 7) and press it into the
plate of the MyoWrist Transcarpal (Fig. 8).
Make sure that the cable is not stretched tight, since the flexion
movement of the wrist will require a certain amount of cable length.
Besides functioning as a seal, the Cable Seal acts as a strain-relief
for the cable. It is also important that enough cable is left in the
tube for later repairs
